Most times we know the perfect GIF when we see it. But sometimes, we may find ourselves going down various rabbit holes as we search and discover content that we’ve never seen before — sometimes leaving us asking…

Well good news! Here are some ways to find out who the creative genius is behind the craziest/funniest/prettiest thing you’ve seen today.
Tap + Hold:
Say you’re perusing today’s trending carousel on the GIPHY homepage and you see something that catches your eye. On mobile (app or web), simply tap and hold the GIF and you’ll be treated to an enhanced view that features the creator attribution at the top (and a link below to explore more from that artist/creator).
On Desktop, it’s even simpler — just hover over the GIF with your mouse and you’ll be treated with an overlay that showcases the creator.
@Channel Search:
GIPHY — while many things in its current form — is still a search engine. As such, any of your queries will return results not only for specific GIF content, but also partner channel pages as a way to help discover new and relevant creator content. These results will appear right below the search bar ahead of the GIF results. Happy hunting!
