First Favorite Favorited Clip
This month, our team at GIPHY Studios wanted to share their first Clip that they added to their GIPHY Favorites! — aka their First Favorite Favorited Clip!
The below collection includes monkeys meditating, some of our coworkers / CC members acting/being Clip-stars, and of course, some cool beats.
- Monday Motivation
“I love this Clip because it’s as funny and random as it is visceral. The music track edited to the visual beats ties everything together in this retro synth vibe, much like an 80’s movie montage. The cinematic nature of it really appeals to me.
I primarily use Clips in conversations for two reasons: make people laugh or get them motivated. This Clip does both. This little guy inspires us to channel our inner 80’s hero who’s about to overcome challenges and prevail.”

“Walter letting out a huge scandalous gasp while shutting his phone is my favorite clip to use in our family group chat. It’s the best when someone drops some juicy chisme, but I’ll drop it in when I get teased too.”

3. Seasonal Depression
“This sums up everything I love about the internet, art, music, and comedy — all in one Clip! As someone who hails from the Midwest originally, the sense memory of being sad from Jan-April never really goes away (no matter how many years I’ve lived in Southern California), but this Clip makes me feel less alone AND makes me giggle at the same time. It’s kind of like a 20-second therapy session, but with a way better beat!”

4. Dancing Cone
“I love this clip because every time I see it I chuckle. No matter how many times I watch it, it still gets me. It’s so cute & fun. Plus, it’s live footage of my happy dance in CLIP form. It just makes me so happy. I like to send it to my niece and tell her ‘this is me.’ She chuckles too, but not with me.”

“This is in my favorites because it is my favorite character from my favorite episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
