GIPHY Arts Sponsors the 7th Annual BITBANG International Festival of Animation, Video Games, and Digital Art.
This year, GIPHY Arts was a proud sponsor of the 7th annual BITBANG International Festival of Animation, Video Games, and Digital Art, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. BITBANG is the largest festival of its kind in Argentina, featuring innovative and experimental workshops, screenings, exhibitions, international competitions, collaborative activities and conferences celebrating animation, video games, and digital art from around the world.
This year, the festival included 5070 participants and 50 events from October 25th, through the end of November. Workshops, events, and screenings were held in various locations around the city, with some screenings available online via Youtube as well.
BITBANG features two competitions, one for animation, and one for video games. The animation competition features International and Latin American categories, and includes official selections of graduate films as well. Links to the winning films can be found here.
