Monday’s solar eclipse was one for the history books: according to the Washington Post, the phenomenon won’t be seen on the continent until 2044, when it will dim parts of Montana and the Dakotas. The next coast-to-coast solar eclipse is expected to arrive on August 12, 2045, with the path of totality running from California to Florida.
