After last year’s socially distanced ceremony, the People’s Choice Awards made a roaring return this week with an in-person audience and a slew of honors for the biggest stars in pop culture.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won big at this year’s ceremony, taking home several fan-voted awards, such as Male Movie Star of 2021, Comedy Movie Star of 2021 and the People’s Champion Award. Icons such as Halle Berry and Christina Aguilera were also honored for their impact on the culture — the latter of whom performed a medley of her career-best hits.

SNL star Kenan Thompson hosted this year’s People’s Choice Awards. Thompson was also nominated for several awards, including Male TV Star of 2021 and Comedy TV Star of 2021. This GIF of Thompson was the fifth most-viewed from the night, with 16.8K+ views, as of Thursday.
4. Simu Liu — 4.4M+ views
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu also had a big night, taking home the award for Action Movie Star of 2021. Shang-Chi also won the award for Action Movie of 2021. This GIF of Liu accepting his award was the fourth most-viewed GIF with 4.4M+ views.
3. Christina Aguilera — 5.1M+ views
Christina Aguilera made history at this year’s People’s Choice Awards, taking home the PCA’s first-ever Music Icon Award. Aguilera also performed some of her biggest hits, including “Beautiful,” “Genie in a Bottle,” and “Ain’t No Other Man.” This GIF from her medley performance was the third most-viewed GIF with 5.1M+ views.

Liu nabbed two spots on our list of the most-viewed GIFs from the 2021 People’s Choice Awards! This GIF of Liu was the second most-viewed GIF with 7.3M+ views.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took home the night’s top award, the 2021 People’s Champion Award, for his philanthropic work.
