Women’s basketball took center stage this year, as several teams and players broke records—including one Caitlin Clark. This year’s NCAA Women’s Championship game between Iowa and South Carolina also broke viewership records, becoming the most-watched basketball game since 2019.

For starters, the James Madison Dukes opened March Madness strong, defeating the Wisconsin Badgers 72–61 and becoming the first 12 seed to advance in this year’s tournament.
